Crabtree Falls
Suprisingly this is the tallest waterfall in the United States east of the Mississippi River. Crabtree Falls is a cascading waterfall, with five major cascades making a total drop of 1200 feet. The tallest cascade is 400 feet tall. Visitors from the high overlooks have awesome views of the falls and the Tye River Valley. The trail is through the beautiful Virginia forest with benches to allow visitors relax and take it all in.
