Sacred Grove

In 1820 the young boy, Joseph Smith Jr., went to a grove of trees near his home, knelt, and prayed. In a wonderful vision Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, appeared to him. This forest has been referred to as the Sacred Grove since 1906. This marked the beginning of the Restoration of Jesus Christ’s Church to the earth.
