Smith Family Log Home

In 1816 the family of Joseph and Lucy Smith moved to Palmyra, New York. The Smith's purchased one-hundred acres and built a log house for their family. Here the family worked, slept, cared for one another, read from the Bible, and prayed together. In this home Joseph Smith Jr. grew up and experienced many things of great importance to the Restoration.
